Steaks are Awful and the beer isnt cold. Poor quality of food and overpriced. OK service. Probably fun for live music but we will never know because none of us are going back. Wasted $200 on 4 $5 meals.

My husband and I went in here for a quick weekday lunch date. He had a chicken wrap and I had coconut shrimp. Both were good. However, the green beans are what will bring me back! So good! They were fresh, garlic and seasoned well. The service was good. The gals working were working hard, not standing around at all and knew most people s names who came in the door.

Very happy we decided to check this place out. They are always postong pictures of their food on Facebook, and it always looks delicious. We went on a Saturday afternoon, during the in between dayshift and nightshift. They didnt have a big crowd, but was not empty, maybe 30 folks. Pretty casual crowd. They have special motorcycle parking, and there were about 5 or 6 bikes there, so if thats not your thing... Had a great beer selection and menu. We like the idea of a half pitcher, especially early in the afternoon. Wings and bar food selection. Fried pickles, dips, sandwiches etc. A few of our favorites. Best feature..they ACTUALLY HAVE HOT WINGS. The ghost pepper wings were HOT. In my experience, when you order hot wings in restaurants, really arent that hot, but 278 South did not disappoint. It was really nice to find a local bar/restaurant where we could grab a good meal and not have to wait in line to be seated like many of the chain restaurants around. Next time we will plan on staying for some live music Parking: Located inside a shopping center area, so even if the run out of spaces, you have the entire shopping area parking. They have motorcycle parking also

Finally decided to try this place. Went on a Sunday afternoon. No football, but they had the music so loud we had to move to the other side of the restaurant so we could even talk. I had a simple meal of chicken tenders. Ended up with food poisoning. I attempted to reach the restaurant to report this to them. After a week and no one wants to bother to reply I have no choice but to post. Eat with caution .

We went for lunch and the food was great! Service was awesome too. It was really dark inside and with the sun shining in the front it made it really hard for us to see each other. But other than that it was a great experience for my first time here.
